Sigils are the 'technical' term for a mobius pattern inscribed into a circuit. They absorb one or more forms of entropy in the surrounding region and return it as power in a predetermined form. While not done with perfect efficiency, Class B patterns have been used to create 'effective perpetual motion' in simple designs.

Infusions

Infusions and wraiths create a special form of sigil, and are often simply called infusions or impelled, respectively. They cannot be bound into normal matter - they either must fuse with a soul, or be trapped in a hypomatter construct - which then is called regalum.
