Tachyons were the first method so discovered, enabling faster-than-light communications over vast distances.
Stellar gates were the second method engineered. While all seven gates are under construction, with three activated, only the Centaurus Gate is actually ready.
Gravitic drives are a means of warping spacetime in a local vacinity, close to the concept of a warp drive. However, acceleration is quite slow without immense energies powering the drive.
