Triate is the term for one of the 'twin souled' - a striatvari, an angel, or a pyrrhan, amongst humanity alone. It refers to the three distinct, but complementary aspects of these persons. They are are often precordants, and thus make up some of the most ancient specimens of mankind.

The general term, including those not of the human race, is cerevate.

Though they have a focus, they share a great many common abilities, and can even develop outside their own 'sphere'. Though they are not the same generalists as those of the First or Renlai, their powers in these fields can still be quite potent.
