On [[Earth]], a [[human]] who turned his back completely and utterly on technology, rejecting [[immortal]]ity in favor of their faith that [[mankind]] has no place among the [[star]]s.  They were considered a [[luddite]] movement for a time, but this moniker eventually faded as they were incapable of inflicting material harm on society.

After the [[Purge]], their fate is unknown.
