Shadows Rustle in the Leaves
As her foes blows hit, Pearl is outlined in essence and their blow finds nothing but dissipating motes of light. Seven Shadow Evasion, Reflex Sidestep Method, Leaping Dodge Technique Traces In the Air A sound like waves crashing on the shore eminates from Pearl and her anima rushes in to cover her clouding her from view. The cloud begins to disapate, but Pearl has already left it's cover motes outlining the position of her body as the crack of impacts rain from her target. Azure Wind: An apparently naive twilight with sorcerous and sword skills, has a master named Sun over Moon who visits her in her dreams. Which is a bit suspicious and possibly warrants further attention in the future. A good resource when needing to deal with various and sundry magical matters.
Alabaster: An ex-slave with a large standing army of his own and various abilities, doesn't seem to be overwhelmingly specialised with either weapons or talkings, is extremely good at training others however. Seems to be fairly up front about his various ambitions. Wants to destroy the guild and apparently free all slaves. Whoever or whatever owns them. For anything to do with resources and training.
Ashera Temorta: A Dawn Caste leader of a mercenary band. Seems to have focused mainly on swords, though her abilities with words are not to be underestimated. A good person, doesn't enjoy seeing others suffer and seems to work to help others. Extremely good backup or front runner in any number of situations. Seems to be spending a lot of time around first age artifacts so may have some additional use soon.
Dancing Rain: Eclipse Caste dancer. Her ability to sway others is frankly terrifying. Does however appear to have an easily swayed heart. Is essentially too good for her own safety. That she and Ashera seem to join in this particular weakness is not exactly helpful. Her main friends appear to be a mortal named Shoal and a cat lunar of some description named Red Tiger. If discussion, persuasion and information retrieval with little physical danger is to come, bring Rain.
Allies
Ayame: Fire aspect ex-dynast. Pleasant enough with a mastery of earth style. Is currently learning a style based upon compassion. Fairly easy to manipulate and a project of some sort of five days darkness.
Five Days Darkness: Problematic. A dark shadow of the unconquered sun in appearance. Not entirely sure how much that has to do with what he is and wants. Appears to wish for the downfall and disgrace of the calendar gods. An ally of my past life and as such has used a sworn oath to force protection for Ayame. Very interested in teaching Ebon shadow style martial arts, possibly because he wishes for it to be spread further.
Zen: A mortal master of a terrestrial style. Has a great knowledge of poisons and potions and as such has a great many uses where anything such as that is concerned.
Other People and Places of Note
Ebon Shadow's Graceful Daughter: Myself and not I. I know of three lives, the first I barely understand. It is nothing but shadows, and fire and broken images. The third is the same, but instead there is terror and anger and fear. The second stays, maybe we were alive longer. I'm not sure. That worm’s blood gave me more insight into who I had been than I ever wanted or needed. We brought Ebon shadow style to creation. A style of death in the night, trickery and shadows. It suits us I think. I can see myself being her, making some of the choices she would. Yet, dwelling on her too long raises too much doubt. In her actions she reminds me much of Ashera and some days I wish I had that purity of action and thought again. Yet, that was a different time, this is a different age and being such as that will lead us to nothing but pain and death. This is what I tell myself at least, and as I watch Alabaster free slaves, Rain bring joy to lives, Azure Wind take a simple joy in a new working and Ashera practice her sword work calmly it seems enough.
Slave to Seven Desires: A deathknight given as a present by the deathlord known as The Lover Clad in the Rainmant of Tears. A problem, and a big one as Ashera, Dancing Rain and even Alabaster to a digree, all seem to have no suspicion of it. Even going so far as to creat for it, her own abode. New information given by Five Days Darkness in return for a certain portion of myself revealed that my wonderings were correct. Though not in the same ways i thought. Apparently she's under a rather large amount of enchanted compulsion. I've asked Azure to look into it while not telling the others. As they'd probarbly speak of it in front of her. Other worries were a dream involving the creature. There are a few possibilities none of which are particularly pleasant and all of which could well lead to more problems.
