The klein tap is invented (again), and the mystery of Kennedy Station is solved. The new technology is treated with extreme caution, given its past failure, but eventually integrated into a Silver Ship and a Void Ship for testing purposes.
A new gerens, calling itself the Cleansing, seeks to eliminate the triates from the human population. Made up largely of toppled Consortium Councilors, they have an unusually great amount of resources to draw on.
