Essentially the material that makes up the bulk of a neutron star's mass. Certain hadronium designs can contain small amounts of it, and it is thus occasionally used as a form of inertial barrier, where mass is not a concern. Because breaching it means releasing intense neutron radiation and it decays into hydrogen normally, it is sometimes also considered 'ablative'.

Quarkium is a more extreme material.
