Jump to navigationJump to searchSince the game is still under development, there are no real updates as of yet. Things can, and will, change without warning. Because some people wanted it, I will include updates here anyway:
May 2006 Updates:
- Moving most of the site to the Wiki. Some skeletons will remain, but most of the information will be available through here.
- Certain setting elements have been changed, and a fair amount is being added. Enjoy.
Preset Updates:
- Infusions tweaked.
- Ablative Defenses added (See enhancements section)
- Mobility enhancements added
- Reduced experience cost to 'gaurauntee' infusions to 100 xp.
- Changed body rules.
- Changed weapons slightly. Melee now uses mobility in place of perception.
- In general, added a 'rules changes' note to pages that I'm updating.
Second Postrelease Update Sequence:
- Major Infusion update. All infusions have been uploaded. Many of them will change from reset to reset, but for the forseeable future there will always be 150.
- Androids and Betas now begin with a small selection of infusions.
- Infusions no longer have a duration property. Either they're instant or permanent.
- Mobius Reactor + Patterned weapon merely divides dissipation by ten.
First Postrelease Update Sequence:
- Toned down Cessation and its daughter.
- Triates are no longer resistant to infusions by default.
- Merits are given for being outclassed or outnumbered are tougher to get.
- Changed Advancement rules, so that you must have a more 'balanced' personality.
- Esplained Melee weapons a bit more.
- Some typo and other general fixes.
- Added a 'future changes' portion to some nodes.
- Added the remaining OpenRPG rule pages.
- Beefed up roleplaying experience granted, removed arena experience granted.
Final Prerelease Update Sequence:
- Body rules changed for hopefully the final time.
- In arena bouts, you must exchange your combat profile with your opponent.
- Core infusion rules updated. Anima and Animus (Psyche) infusions finished.
- Character sheet finished.
- OpenRPG rules will be updated soon.
- No, it's not completely done, but we're beginning anyway.
Third Prerelease Update Sequence:
- Body rules changed.
- More glossary stuff.
- Core Infusion rules finished.
- Weapons finished.
- You no longer need to get a custom body pre-approved.
- Credits are now worth 100 sols, prices have been divided by 10 (or so) accordingly, for saner numbers.
- Starting money reduced to keep in line with the above.
Second Prerelease Update Sequence:
- Added a timestamp to the webpage code. If you copy pages into OpenRPG nodes, copy the timestamp as well.
- Lots of information added to the OpenRPG section in Rules.
- Example Bodies added.
- Actions now always deal in tenths instead of sixths.
- Added a note in the Ouranos Prime section under Games about just how bright the Sun and Uranus look from the station.
- Most of the Equipment sections finished.
First Prerelease Update Sequence:
- Always check the glossaries. They will be updated frequently.
- Ouranos Prime description significantly updated, under Setting -> Games -> Ouranos Prime. Read it.
- Dierolls are now just Attribute/5 d10 dice, because it is easier on more varying scores (17.2% versus 3.1% chance of defeating an opposing roll with a 25% higher attribute).
- Actions are now only based off of Reason and Perception, Coordination has nothing to do with them.
- Everyone welcome our newest secondary stat, Mass! Many tournaments will be mass-limited, including your own weight, armor, weapons, etc. Enjoy.
- New Personality Stuffs. Aura and Harmony act as 'Magic Point' scores.
- Body Creation rules are finally finished. Have fun.
- Bunches and bunches of minor things.
