Portable fusion generator

A portable fusion generator or PFG, usually refers to a personal device that can be worn. Often weighing no more than a kilogram, they are often supplemented with chemical cooling solutions. Despite this, they still get rather hot during high usage, and require coolant refuel far more frequently than actual compressed deuterium cells.

Their existence dictates the price of water, methane, and hydrogen in the economy. With the energy consumed in filtering, electrolysis and storage being trivial in comparison, a gram of deuterium is considered to be worth one credit or about three and a half sols, making 58 kilograms of water to be worth likewise.
