Relic

A device left behind by an ancient race. Most of them are of merely xenoarchaeological interest - for studying lost and destroyed sapient races such as the tlorai - initially learned of through the Centaurus Relic. The Soronen and Renlai left behind a great many useful devices, however, and some still refer to the latter as the Cetan civilization when referring to relics dating to or before the Renlaic Purge.

Occasional First items are also considered relics, such as the Sagittarius Relic.
