The most famous moons in the Solar System are probably Luna (Earth's moon), Titan, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, and Io.
The Neith Proposal sought to create another large moon in the Solar System by slamming Mercury into Venus. It was slightly controversial.
Other Star systems have other important moons. Alpha Centauri in particular is known for Bulan and Sin.
